#ATAGTR2023 Speaker

Welcome to the 8th Edition of the Global Testing Retreat 2023!

About Speaker

I am a passionate Automation Developer with more than 8 years of experience in the IT industry, across multiple industries, tools & technologies. I am currently working in the Industrial IoT domain for automating IoT systems, Cloud services, Container applications, Kubernetes applications, Linux devices, Cross OS applications etc. I am a certified Blockchain Developer (By Blockchain Council) and PowerBI Data Analyst (By Microsoft). I love communicating with others and learning anything new. When not wearing my work-hat, you can find me on the road travelling to a random destination and capturing memories.

Interactive Talk - Elements of Quality Engineering in remote IoT System

Elements of Quality Engineering in remote IoT System

Just automating functional test cases is not enough when we deal with remote Industrial IoT systems (mostly Linux machines). We need to custom engineer automated solutions to validate production scenarios like data gap, low bandwidth, Kubernetes pods, docker containers etc.

ย

With automation scripts running on windows machine (UI actions in web browser), interacting with Linux machine simultaneously is a challenge. We have a solution on how to interact with Linux machines from automation scripts running on Windows agent machines; How to validate Kubernetes pods and logs; How to run queries in Influx DB containers.

We will also give quick demos of our solutions.

  1. Simulating production like challenges in complex IoT system
  2. Validating Docker container details
  3. Validating Kubernetes pods and other related data
  4. How to run InfluxDB queries from automation script
  5. Capturing & verifying high frequency real-time data in UI
  6. IoT Device health metrics, dashboard & log analysis
  7. And overall, the tips and tricks of automating and simulating real-time production scenarios in IoT systems.
