Jackie is an experienced QA Director with over 25 years‘ experience in IT and software testing. Starting out as a test analyst and problem solver, she went on to become test manager, and moved into consultancy where she gained experience and knowledge in IT testing across multiple business sectors, working with a wide variety of tools and technologies, and managing large teams, both on site and offshore.

Highly regarded not only for her knowledge and deep experience in QA, but also for her ability to bridge the gap between complex technical solutions and clients’ understanding of the impact on their business, she has previously presented at several conferences and testing community events, such as User Conference for Advanced Automated Testing (UCAAT), Scottish Testing Group, EuroSTAR, CQAA, QEF, TestingMinds and Testing Tribe. She has also published various articles on software testing, business intelligence, test data privacy, and Testing Centres of Excellence. She grew up in Glasgow, Scotland, where she attained a Bachelors in English Literature and Language, then a Masters degree in Information Technology. Now living in New Jersey, USA, she enjoys running, rocking out on her drum-kit, cooking, and reading.
