Bas Dijkstra is an independent test automation consultant and trainer with more than 19 years of experience in the field. Over the course of his career, he has worked on software testing and automation solutions across a wide range of programming languages, frameworks, and technology stacks.

He has delivered test automation training to dozens of companies and hundreds of conference attendees in the Netherlands and abroad, consistently receiving excellent reviews.

Bas is also the developer of RestAssured.Net, a library designed to make writing tests for HTTP APIs in C# simple and efficient. 
Based in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, he lives with his wife and two sons. Outside of work, he enjoys long bike rides, playing chess, and reading good books.
