Avik Chatterji is a Manager at Cognizant with close to 15 years of expertise in Performance Engineering and Operational Resilience. He excels in designing and implementing performance assurance strategies across SAP, Cloud, and DevOps environments, with a strong emphasis on observability, automation, and resilience engineering.
Avik has successfully led Non-Functional Testing (NFT) programs across a wide range of industries, including Energy, Retail, Banking, Insurance, and Hospitality. He has architected and deployed robust performance testing frameworks using tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, VSTS, Gatling, and Neoload. His cloud expertise spans AWS and Azure, where he has driven performance optimization and enhanced operational resilience for large-scale enterprise applications.
As a key contributor to digital transformation initiatives, Avik has enabled end-to-end observability using tools like OpenTelemetry and Grafana, and has streamlined processes through automated test data generation and incident management workflows.
He holds multiple industry-recognized certifications, including Microsoft GitHub Copilot, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Azure AI Fundamentals, and SRE certifications from Pluralsight and Gremlin. Recently, Avik participated in Cognizant’s AI Hackathon (Vibe Coding), which earned a place in the Guinness World Records for the highest number of participants in an online generative AI hackathon.
