In the ever-evolving landscape of software testing, the surge of AI tools, techniques, and methodologies has brought significant advancements. However, amidst this flood of artificial intelligence, the real intelligence of testers remains irreplaceable. Our talk, “GenRI – Generative Artificial Real Intelligence for Testers,” aims to underscore the critical importance of maintaining a balanced approach between leveraging AI and preserving the fundamental, intuitive skills of human testers. In this session, Cinthiya and I will propose a paradigm where AI is positioned as an assistant, enhancing rather than overshadowing the tester’s role. By integrating AI as a supportive tool, testers can achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness in their tasks while ensuring that the core principles and learnings of traditional testing remain at the forefront.
We will present a compelling case study from our work at adidas, where this balanced approach has been successfully implemented. Utilizing AI as an assistant, our team was able to reduce the test cycle by 40%, significantly improving both efficiency and quality. This case study will highlight practical applications, demonstrating how AI tools were integrated into our testing processes to support, rather than replace, our testers’ real intelligence.
