She has contributed in various capacities as an individual contributor, technical product manager, scrum master, intellectual property rights coordinator and coach on various open source tools for test automation, programming for non programmer throughout her career and continues.
She is the Founder at 5 Elements Learning, an E Learning Organization and Mosaic Words, a Green Literature Publishing company. She is a published author of 4 books on Selenium. She is a committer to the Selenium Project, currently with Selenium Documentation. She is an active participant for various international conferences on Testing, Automation, AI and other similar areas, where she serves as a reviewer, jury, organizer, speaker and enthusiastic attendee. She also holds various certifications in her field, interests and passions.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Pallavi spends active time in writing, reading, travel, nature watching and conservation. She is dedicated to giving back to society and environment through both her time and resources. She believes in #BeKind, starting with self.

Hands on Lab (60 Mins) - Deep Dive into Nightwatch A powerful Test Automation Framework For All Things Web and Mobile

Selenium is a popular browser automation tool, and has been in the industry for 20 years. It is majorly famous for automating the browser for testing purposes. Many boiler plate frameworks over Selenium have been readily available in the market, which are much more suited for test automation needs. The benefit such framework bring that they are built over Selenium, and they ease the implementation of Selenium for a test automation project for the end user. Nightwatch is a popular one for all framework built over the Selenium Javascript bindings. The project is open source, and well supported by the community and industry. In this workshop we will learn how to get started with Nightwatch, a popular framework built over Selenium, for test automation needs. After attending the workshop, one should be able to setup Nightwatch, create test scripts, execute and debug them. Understand difference between Nightwatch and Selenium.
