Competition Overview

What is QuizATAhon?

#MonthEndQuizATAhon is a monthly live quiz competition organized by CP-SAT during the last few days of each month. It’s the second competition launched for the 10th edition of Global Testing Retreat, following our successful #10YearsOfExperienceSharing initiative.

Competition Format

The competition tests two critical factors: your knowledge of the Selenium ecosystem and your speed in providing correct answers. Winners are determined by maximum correct answers and minimum time taken.

MEQuiz 1 - 31st July

Successful Completion of the First #MonthEndQuizATAhon

We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of our first QuizATAhon competition, the July #MonthEndQuizATAhon, held on Wednesday, July 31, 2025. The event saw enthusiastic participation from over 85+ individuals representing various organizations. It was a remarkable blend of learning and fun, making it an enriching experience for all involved.

Selenium Eco-System Categories

Core Technologies

Test your knowledge of WebDriver, Selenium IDE (SIDE), and Grid - the fundamental components that power Selenium's cross-browser testing capabilities.

Integration Tools

Questions on Maven, Git, Docker, and other essential DevOps tools that enhance Selenium's functionality in modern testing environments.

Testing Frameworks

Demonstrate your expertise in JUnit, TestNG, locator strategies, and scenario-based problem-solving in real-world testing situations.

Competition Structure

Duration: 30 Minutes

The quiz runs for approximately half an hour, requiring quick thinking and rapid responses while maintaining accuracy.

Scoring System

Winners are determined by a combination of correct answers and speed. The faster you answer correctly, the higher you'll rank.

Live Results

Top three winners will be announced immediately following the competition, with prizes and certificates awarded on the same day.

1. Study the Ecosystem

Review all nine categories: Docker, Git, Grid, JUnit, Locators, Maven, Selenium IDE, TestNG, and WebDriver. Don’t neglect scenario-based problems that test practical implementation skills.

2. Practice Speed Drills

Since timing affects rankings, practice answering questions quickly without sacrificing accuracy. Set up mock quizzes with timers to simulate competition conditions.

3. Join Study Groups

Connect with other Selenium professionals to share knowledge and practice together. Discussing complex concepts improves retention and exposes you to different perspectives.
